February Meeting

Please join us for our next meeting on Sunday February 1st. Our own Linda Wilhelm will doing an exhibit workshop. This will be a hands-on meeting where the group will divide into two teams to construct orchid exhibits in a friendly competition. We need lots of blooming plants to help construct the mock exhibits, so bring what you have, even if it is not award quality.

The SCOS show at the Riverbanks zoo is the week after the meeting, so also bring plants that you would like to leave with Linda to install intothe show.

Woodland Orchids will be bringing plants to sell, so there will not be a farmers market this month. Lunch at noon and meeting at 1PM.

  1. I noticed a photo on Flickr from the Piedmont Orchid Show that was taken on March 18, 2012. The plant is a schombolaelia Cinnamon Crisp. I would very much like to know to whom the plant belongs and how to get one of my own. Can you help me? Thanks!

  2. Does the show have an admission fee? If so, why doesn’t the website mention this????? Also, does UNCC charge for parking? Why isn’t there a phone number to call listed on the show website?
